Can i use the eicfg remover utility for converting the created ISO to universal. Joined May 10, Messages 9, Reaction score 1, Ultimate has everything Home Premium has plus a few extras. And I'm not sure what your fascination is with the hash values but NO, the hash values wouldn't be the same for any of the versions listed and it would change again once you remove the ei. The whole point of a hash value is so that the data plus the hash value result in a net result of 0 so the integrity of the data can be verified; it wouldn't be much value if the data could change and the same hash values still worked.

And yes the N-version should work with your product key but why would you want to install N? You might try burning it again on a slower burn speed, like 3X and also turn on verify.

What else is needed? There is a small possibility you will need drivers, but the Install will tell you if you do I recommend downloading the SP1 media refresh version. I recomend dpwnloading the Windows 7 sp1 media refresh version which includes service pack 1 and some additional updates. They come pre activated so the License key cannot be used again Doing a upgrade installation might keep your license but sometimes you get screwed windows 7 worst than the previews one.
To do an upgrade installation, you has to run the installer from an activated Windows OS. Microsoft released the media refresh version of Windows 7 DVD media to fix a rare bug related to invalid computer name when small set of computer names returned error when used to install Windows 7.
